Darrell went to Mt. Zion High School graduating the year before me.  Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Dear Beverly, Jen, Brandon, Mason and everyone in the Rhoades family, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Darrell was a great guy and we are happy that we had the opportunity to meet him at Jen and Brandon's wedding this past year. Please accept our deepest sympathy. He will be missed very much by everyone who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

     I was shocked to hear about Darrell and am so sorry. Please know that my prayers are with you as you grieve such a terrible loss. I'm sorry that I am so far
away right now but I will see you when I get back to IL.

My deepest sympathy to Bev and the Rhoads family. Bev you were a wonderful wife and friend to Darrell. You have been in my prayers throughout all of this journey for a heart. And you are in my prayers now. I am on a mission to keep the word out that "everyone should be an organ donor" I am here for you!

To the Rhodes family,

I have great memories childhood memories of Darrell and time spent at your home.  For a time, my family lived in the little brown house on the west side of the Rhodes home and my aunt lived across the street.  My brother Tom and I spent many hours playing with Darrell.  Comic books and BB guns took up most of our time. Hide and seek in the barns, snowball fights and my first pony ride all happened with him.  Though we drifted apart over the years, I will never forget the times we had as children how your family welcomed us.  His life made a difference.  I feel very fortunate to have known Darrell and pray God's peace on all of you at this difficult time.
